“Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men’s blood and probably will themselves not be realized. Make big plans, aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will not die.” These words were spoken by Daniel Burnham, an architect and urban planner who grew up in Chicago and designed much of the urban design of the city.
I want to live like this: making big plans, aiming high in faith, igniting a movement of church planting across the region that will bring the good news of Jesus to thousands. Planning large is what I’m going to do in 2011! I believe that this is what it’s going to take to change the spiritual landscape of Chicagoland.
